The Best of Drugstore Pink

These pink drugstore delights cost under £10 each.

Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush in the shade Coral Tentation: £7.99
T
This baked powder blush by Bourjois is one of my favourites. I love the packaging which looks both elegant and retro, and even contains a mirror in the lid.
The matte formula is soft and delicate, with a hint of rose fragrance and blends very easily. This is a perfect, fresh and rosy pink for Spring and Summer makeup looks.

L'Oréal Collection Exclusive Lipstick in the shade Blake's Delicate Rose: £6.99
This colour performs really well. It is scented, but for me the scent does not linger once applied. It swipes on with great pigmentation and I think the packaging is stylish. It lasts well for a cream lipstick and feels comfortable to wear.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr Cream Eyeshadow in the shade Pink Gold: £4.99
This cream eyeshadow can simply be dabbed onto the eyelids for an instant eye look. Add mascara to boost the lashes and to contrast with the pink, and that is all you need. It can be built up from a wash of pink to a more dramatic look and has great lasting power. I like the shimmery effect this gives without looking obviously glittery, and the product removes easily at the end of the day.

Maybeline Eyeshadow Palette The Blushed Nudes: £9.99
These pastel shades are pretty but I find they need another product such as the Colour Tattoo above to help them last all day. You can also use these delicate shadows wet to give a longer-lasting effect.

I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts Triple Baked Blusher in the shade Peachy Pink Kisses: £4.99
And finally, this Blushing Hearts blush which is bursting with reflective shimmer and adds a fun glow to the cheeks. The cardboard packaging is simply adorable and the product itself lasts very well on the face.
Thank you for reading about my pink picks, have you tried any of these?

  2. I love the Bourjois Blushers, they are a favourite of mine. I have the maybelline tattoo color shadow too but have yet to use it. Another reason I need to start panning and using what I have. I whisper this to myself when I get the urge to purchase something new. Love your pics x x
